That there Odin Sphere

Ooooohhh just done the best ending of Odin Sphere (First time, ‪#‎humblebrag‬) and yeah wowsers, an all around solid ride, such great weird subverting of Norse lore, and just a general beautiful game. I mean them visuals AMIRITE? But I was shocked how dignified it tackled the subject of abuse by family members, I mean the original game came out 10 years ago so that’s impressive, like how the characters react and the way they can down right tremble was so haunting with how real it was….. IN A GAME ABOUT VALKERIES AND FAIRES AND SHIT!? WHAT!? I’ve played entire games about the subject of abuse that don’t even come close to this

While Muramasa will still be my favvy Vanillaware game based on the sheer strength of it’s gameplay alone, this comes a damn close 2nd place, and tbh it’s the better game judging by overall qualities, just a beautiful fucking thing, EVERYONE PLAY IT
