Anyobe else troubled on a feminist intersectionality level by how archetypes about shitty dudes and stereotypes about autistic men seem to dovetail; not just in the general “neckbeard stereotype” stuff but more specifically in stuff like; say; how the idea of mansplaining has a suspicious amount of overlap with the very much autistic phenomena of infodumping? Am I the only one who thinks that miiiiiight not be a coincidence?

Especially troubling given that, consciously or not, the right-wing dipshit brigade tends to prey on autistic dudes who feel othered by giving them an explaination for their pain, and the othering we engage in may not be helping…

[That’s not to say that autistic women, especially autistic trans women don’t get the short end of the stick intersectionality-wise, I just don’t know specifically how, but feel free to give examples if you’re in that demographic]
